Keep in mind adding bread products, including cakes, pasta and baked goods, shouldn’t go into the compost pile because they can attract pests. Also adding large quantity of citrus fruit peels can slow down the breaking don process. So always maintain balance with other organic matters as well.
Its best if you can shred them into tiny pieces. It’s easy for them to breakdown quickly. Add them to your compost pile with a handful of earthworms if you can. Now your compost is ready to give you free manure for your veggies and flowers in a few of days.
